Delete Your ZilScore Account
You can delete your ZilScore account and its data at any time. This page explains how to do it in the ZilScore app, or by email if you no longer have the app installed, and exactly what is deleted.
1. Delete your account in the app (fastest)
- Open the ZilScore app and sign in
- Go to Menu → Settings → Account → Delete Account
- Type DELETE to confirm
- Tap Delete Forever
Your account and data are deleted straight away. This works the same whether you signed in with email, Google or Apple.
Have a Go ad-free subscription? Deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play account settings to stop future charges.
2. Request deletion by email (without the app)
If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in, email support@zilscore.com with the subject "Delete my ZilScore account".
- Send it from the email address associated with your ZilScore account, so we can confirm the account is yours
- We may ask you to confirm your request before we delete anything
- We will complete your request and confirm by email, typically within 30 days
Deletion is permanent. A deleted account cannot be recovered. You are welcome to create a new account at any time.
3. What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in (email, Google or Apple)
- Your profile, display name, settings and preferences, push notification tokens, and blocked-users list
- Your followed teams and players
- Your comments and replies, including replies other people posted under your comments
- Your in-app notifications and the support requests you sent through the app
- Records of your interactions with advertisements in the app
4. What may be kept, and for how long
- Backups — automatic backups may persist for up to 30 days after deletion before being permanently removed.
- Crash reports and analytics — retained for up to 14 months in aggregated form.
- Support emails you sent to support@zilscore.com — retained for up to 24 months.
- Likes and poll votes — the totals you contributed to remain, but are no longer linked to an account.
- Moderation and legal records — reports about content that broke our rules, and information we must keep for legal, fraud-prevention or security purposes, may be kept in isolated form until we are permitted to delete it.
