ZilScore respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. This page explains our copyright practices, the use of third-party trademarks, and how to report copyright infringement under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable laws.

1. ZilScore Original Content
All original content created by ZilScore, including but not limited to:
- Application design, user interface, and user experience
- Source code and software
- Original news articles and editorial content
- Logos, branding, and graphic design
- Compilations and arrangements of football data
- Marketing materials and communications
... is the property of ZilScore and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from our original content without our prior written permission.
2. Third-Party Trademarks and Intellectual Property
ZilScore displays third-party trademarks and content for purposes of identification, editorial commentary, and fair use, including:
- Football club crests, logos, and team names — property of their respective clubs
- League and competition logos (Premier League, La Liga, UEFA Champions League, FIFA World Cup, etc.) — property of their respective governing bodies
- Player names and likenesses — used in editorial and informational contexts
- News photography — sourced from licensed providers or used under fair use principles
- Third-party service logos (Google, Firebase, etc.) — property of their respective owners
The use of these trademarks within ZilScore does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement by the trademark owners.

3. Match Data and Statistics
Live match scores, fixtures, standings, statistics, and team/player data are sourced from third-party providers under licensed agreements, including API-Football (API-Sports). The factual nature of sports data (scores, fixtures, results) generally does not constitute copyrightable material, but the compilation and presentation of such data may be protected.
We acknowledge and credit our data sources where appropriate. If you are a data provider with concerns, please contact support@zilscore.com.
4. User-Generated Content
Users may submit content to ZilScore, including poll votes, comments, replies, and profile information ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, users grant ZilScore the licenses described in our Terms and Conditions.
Users represent and warrant that:
- They own the User Content they submit, or have all necessary rights to submit it
- The User Content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights
- The User Content complies with our Terms and Conditions
If you believe User Content posted on ZilScore infringes your copyright, please follow the DMCA notification procedure in Section 6 below.
5. Sponsored Advertising
Sponsored advertisements displayed in ZilScore are the property of the respective advertisers. ZilScore obtains permission from advertisers to display their content. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that their advertisements comply with applicable copyright and trademark laws.

6. DMCA Infringement Notification
If you believe content displayed on ZilScore infringes your copyright, you may submit a notification of claimed infringement. Your notification must include the following information (as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- Your identification: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A clear description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed (including registration number if applicable).
- Identification of the infringing material: The specific location (URL, in-app reference, or screenshot) of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it.
- Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.

7. Response Process
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notification, ZilScore will:
- Review the notification within 10 business days
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material if the notification meets all DMCA requirements
- Notify the user who posted the material (where applicable) and provide a copy of the DMCA notification
- Take additional action against repeat infringers, including account termination (see Section 10)
We may request additional information or clarification before taking action.
8. Counter-Notification
If you believe material you posted was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- Identification of the material that was removed and its previous location on ZilScore
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the US, of any judicial district in which ZilScore may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notification
- Your physical or electronic signature
Send your counter-notification to support@zilscore.com with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notification".
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the removed material at our discretion.
9. Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, incurred by the alleged infringer, the copyright owner, or ZilScore as a result of relying on such misrepresentation.
10. Repeat Infringers
ZilScore has a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, users or account holders who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to the Services or terminate accounts of any user who infringes intellectual property rights, whether or not there is repeat infringement.
